Bruno Mars Confirmed New Single 'Locked Out of Heaven'

It’s been two years since the debut of the American singer Bruno Mars and his first album “Doo-Wops & Hooligans“. After getting sold over 6 million copies worldwide, the “Grenade” singer is ready to return to the top of the charts. After writing via Twitter, letter by letter, the word “October“, it’s confirmed that the new song entitled “Locked Out of Heaven” will premiere on October 1st. The track will be the first official single from his sophomore studio album that’s confirmed to release on December 11, 2012 via Atlantic and Elektra Records. According to one of the producers of the album, American deejay Thomas Wesley Pentz better known by his stage name Diplo, the album contains “genius pop music“. He worked with the singer for his own Major Lazer record Free the Universe, insisted that Mars’ upcoming studio album will be a massive hit. Part of the lyrics of the song says: "Could heaven not be a faraway place above the sky, but a perfect place here on earth? So tell me... how does it feels to walk right out of heaven?"

The ‘Lazy Song’ singer’s new record has been hailed by Major Lazer producer Diplo. Bruno Mars’ next album will be the “biggest thing on the planet” according to popular DJ and producer Diplo. The Major Lazer star collaborated with Bruno on the band’s new album ‘Free The Universe’, and gave some new hints about what Bruno’s fans can expect from his second studio offering. “Bruno is the coolest guy I’ve ever hung out in a studio with,” Diplo told The Daily Star this week. “He’s so funny and he doesn’t give a s**t. “His next album is going to be a biggest thing on the planet,” Diplo teased. “It’s genius pop music.” For the majority of 2012 the ‘Grenade’ singer has been working hard on the follow-up to his 2011 debut ‘Doo-Wops & Hooligans’, which spawned a string of successful singles including ‘It Will Rain’ and The Lazy Song. Bruno Mars Teases New Music Release In October

The ‘Grenade’ singer tweets a mysterious message hinting at the possibility of an announcement later this year. Bruno Mars took to his Twitter account recently to reveal a series of cryptic messages which seemingly hinted that he will be making an announcement about new material in October. The ‘Marry You’ star tweeted the word “October” in individual letters over several posts which sent his fans crazy. The signer has been busy working in the studio on his new record and the follow-up to his debut ‘Doo Wops & Hooligans’ all year and told fans at the BRIT Awards 2012 that he would be going away for a while to work on his album. Bruno recently revealed that he was about “halfway done” on the record and has been teasing details fro the studio on his social networking account for the past few weeks. He has also teamed up with Adele songwriter Paul Epworth who described the sound of the singer’s collaboration as something with the vibe of Nina Simone. Bruno Mars Tweet Mysterius "OCTOBER" message

Bruno Mars on Friday (Aug. 24) began cryptically tweeting each letter of the word “October” in reverse. So, either he can’t wait for stores to start selling candy corn, or he’s drumming up interest for some sort of announcement. Bruno’s people are staying quiet, but more than a few of his nearly 12 million followers are speculating that a new album is on the horizon. Well, it just so happens that the retro-crooner’s debut Doo-Wops & Hooligans dropped on October 4, 2010. So whatever this announcement is, we suspect it will come on that album’s second anniversary.
