It’s been two years since the debut of the American singer Bruno Mars and his first album “Doo-Wops & Hooligans“. After getting sold over 6 million copies worldwide, the “Grenade” singer is ready to return to the top of the charts. After writing via Twitter, letter by letter, the word “October“, it’s confirmed that the new song entitled “Locked Out of Heaven” will premiere on October 1st. The track will be the first official single from his sophomore studio album that’s confirmed to release on December 11, 2012 via Atlantic and Elektra Records.
According to one of the producers of the album, American deejay Thomas Wesley Pentz better known by his stage name Diplo, the album contains “genius pop music“. He worked with the singer for his own Major Lazer record Free the Universe, insisted that Mars’ upcoming studio album will be a massive hit.
Part of the lyrics of the song says:
"Could heaven not be a faraway place above the sky, but a perfect place here on earth? So tell me... how does it feels to walk right out of heaven?"
